Hello! We're Karl Rouwhorst and Nanette Dorbeck(Naples Wedding Photographer, Fort Myers Wedding Photographer, Fort Myers Beach Wedding Photographer, Bonita Springs Wedding Photographer), the husband and wife team behind Luminaire Foto. We have a yorkie named Iso (aka film speed) and we like her, a lot. After our wedding almost 4 years ago, we packed up our lives in Michigan and landed in Southwest Florida. We run our wedding photography business out of our home in Naples, Florida and we shoot on location. While our photography varies (such as family, portrait, engagement, lifestyle, and commercial shoots,) wedding photography is our cup of tea. As a recently married couple ourselves, we connect with the energy and the love that surrounds a wedding. We think you'll see that in our photos. After months of anticipation, your wedding day will be beautiful and amazing and all that you envision. Yet as most couples have told us, the day passes in a blur. Subtlety and surprise will have as much a role as the vows, the kiss, the toasts... Our focus is to take these small moments and timeless traditions, and create something larger: the story of your wedding. We'll create a narrative that is at once classic and modern, as we capture the beauty in the details. Your story will be remembered and recounted through your photographs for years to come. South and Southwest Florida: Naples, Estero, Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Sanibel Island, Captiva Island, Marco Island, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Orlando, St. Petersburg, Tampa, and Sarasota. We're also available for travel and destination weddings. Travel locations we've shot include... Rome, Italy; Grand Rapids, Detroit, Michigan; London, Ontario, Canada; California, Washington D.C., Virginia, and Atlanta, Georgia.
Destination Weddings
We love shooting destination weddings, near and far! What's not to like about new places and people to meet. (Maybe even a new food or language.) Travel shoots give us the chance to get to know everyone and become part of the family. We'll always arrive at least a day or two before your event to allow for travel delays.
