In anticipation of Jenna and Tom’s wedding later this week, here’s some photos from their engagement session with their cute doggies.
Earlier this year we photographed an eco chic styled shoot at the Naples Botanical Garden. Jennifer of Wed Perfect came up with a wonderful concept: we shot one setup of what one might imagine an eco wedding to look like, and then we repurposed many of the same eco materials into a second, more glamorous wedding shoot. Click here to check out today’s post on Style Me Pretty Florida. Karl and I are supporters of eco-wedding touches, big and small. A huge thank your to everyone who participated in the shoot, and of course to our wonderful models!

Here’s a sweet letter from a recent bride of ours:
I loved how unobtrusive you both were throughout the entire event. You captured wonderful moments but I never felt like I really saw you taking pictures. I also loved how down to earth you both were and how calming your presence was. You also made the whole family portrait process a lot of fun. You were easy to work with and very responsive to all of our questions and needs. I especially loved how you explained the “first glance” process to Jack when we came down to visit you. He really was not in favor of going in that direction but after seeing actual photos from a wedding and your explanation of how it would go, he was convinced. I asked him afterwards if he was glad that we went that route and he was 100% positive that it was the right way to go.
We’ll always love backyard weddings, and this one took place in the couple’s own backyard! Those big, beautiful old oak trees were the backdrop for Gennifer and Dan’s homespun wedding, and the wood from the property was also used in making the ceremony benches, altar, coasters, and more. Our favorite touch was probably the custom “gallery wall” fotobooth backdrop. Congrats Gennifer and Dan! We had so much fun photographing your beautiful wedding and we wish you many future celebrations!
ps: This pretty wedding was also recently featured on the blog Aisle In Style.
See how their fotobooth wall turned out? So fun!
